I found this session very useful for young adults, to resonate about being aware, to people who are turning 18, going out, moving away etc. I also felt that if I am in any uncomfortable situation there is always something I can do to support and protect myself.
I enjoyed the scenarios and found them helpful with strategies to use when dealing with difficult situations. I found the exercises on situational awareness very relevant and something I can apply to everyday life.
Liz and the BStreet Savvy team ran a high-energy, engaging presentation. The session had a serious message but was fun and full of action. A great team-building exercise that was also informative and empowering. Thanks!
I learnt a great deal from your workshop like the tools for creating boundaries with body language. The breathing technique was also a great tool that I can use in many aspects of my life when I’m faced with stressful and challenging situations.
I know how to be more aware of my surroundings and know my options if I need help. I am aware of how to use adrenolin to optimise a threatening situation. The role plays provided concrete ways to act. The workshop overall was very practical with tools I can easily apply.
It was a reminder of how behavior can elicit different responses from people. The workshop was very relevant and reinforced what we have in place with new strategies to compliment our existing. I really enjoyed the session and we learnt from each other.
I learnt strategies to use when dealing with difficult customers. I feel more confident about being in control and not to react quickly and listen when in a heated situation.
Using my voice can be very powerful to stop a risky situation combined with body language. It is so important to trust your gut instinct especially when I use public transport, walking alone to work and home.
